Community Guidelines
Conect is intended for adults looking to meet people for dating or friendship. Be honest, respect other members, and use connection features responsibly.
Who can use Conect?
Only people aged 18 or older may use Conect. Do not create a profile for a minor or misrepresent your age. If you suspect an account belongs to someone under 18, report it.
Respect and consent
- Respect boundaries, consent and a person’s choice not to respond or continue a conversation.
- Do not threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, or repeatedly contact someone after they ask you to stop.
- Do not share someone else’s private messages, personal details, intimate images or identifying information without permission.
- Never threaten to expose or blackmail another person.
Real profiles and honest intentions
- Do not impersonate another person or use photos that mislead people about who you are.
- Do not use Conect to run romance scams, request money through deception, promote fraudulent investments, or harvest contact details.
- Do not spam members or use automated tools to manipulate likes, matches or messages.
- Do not use the app to arrange unlawful exploitation, trafficking or other criminal activity.
Photos and content
- Upload only photos you have the right to use.
- Do not upload non-consensual intimate images, sexual exploitation material, threats, or content involving minors.
- Do not include phone numbers, home addresses, passwords, bank details or other private information in public profile fields.
How to block or report
Use the profile actions menu to block someone or submit a report. Choose the closest report reason and give concise factual details. Reports may be reviewed by the Conect operator; submitting a report does not guarantee a specific outcome or response time.
Available report reasons include fake profile, harassment, spam, inappropriate content, suspected underage user, and other. For an immediate threat to life or safety, contact local emergency services or a trusted local support organisation; do not rely on an in-app report for emergencies.
Possible action
Conect may review reported conduct and, where appropriate, remove content, restrict access, or suspend/disable an account. Decisions should be proportionate to the report and available evidence. Deliberately false or abusive reporting may itself violate these guidelines.
Safety reminders
- Keep first meetings in public places and tell someone you trust where you are going.
- Do not send money or share passwords or security codes with someone you have just met.
- Block and report anyone who makes you feel unsafe.
These guidelines are a user-facing starting point. Conect’s moderation workflow and response times are still being established during beta.
